The Get Organized Bootcamp and Challenge is about filling these board room seats with Public Housing, Project Based Section 8, and Tax Credit Residents on the journey to safe and healthy housing, self sufficiency and to build better relationship with their Housing Authority, Owner/Management Agents, HUD and other partners taking steps to prevent eviction, end displacement/homelessness and making necessary resources available and accessible. The GET ORGANIZED BOOTCAMP & CHALLENGE is designed to empower and educate Resident participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the HUD housing landscape and communicate policies, rules and regulations that do not serve Residents well. The idea is to open minds to transformation and be equipped with practical strategies and compromises to make the most out of affordable housing benefits, Resident Rights, Responsibilities and Roles.
